Just got a $12,500 scholarship and it looks like a may get two other smaller scholarships which means sophomore year my dad agreed to buy me a car!
Think I can swing a B6 or B7 S4?

I tried for one of those and nearly got it until they all disappeared from my area.

My job has shown me that MET is not for me, I think manufacturing processes and such are cool but the field isn't my cup of tea.

Yeah some of it isn't fun but it's more hands-on and applications-based which worked for me. I was ME and struggling and I switched and now I'm doing a lot better.

Yeah I'm almost the exact opposite I like the hands on but I also really like being able to solve things with math.

That's MET... You get to do both. The first two years of MET and ME are identical

I would say you COULD, but I wouldn't. Buy a 4th generation subaru legacy gt (wagon if you can find it with a manual) and enjoy better handling, more power with a few bolt ons that will still bring your total to less than an S4 would cost, better reliability, lower insurance and maintenance costs, and the wonders of BOOST!
Source: me. because I recently chose between the two.

So does that mean you get $12,500 to spend on a car? If so, this is for you.
